Monoova has appointed experienced payments and financial services executive Bianca Bates as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 July 2026, marking the next phase of growth for the Australian payments technology business.
Bianca brings more than 25 years’ experience across payments, fintech and financial services, including senior leadership roles at ASX-listed Smartgroup and Cuscal, where she served as Deputy CEO and Chief Client Officer.
Bianca succeeds co-founder Christian Westerlind Wigstrom, who steps down after almost a decade leading the business from its origins as Moneytech Payments to its current position as an established player in Australia's rapidly evolving payments ecosystem. Christian will continue to support the business as an advisor to the Chair during the transition.
